Artwork approval process
For personalized cards we must receive appropriate data files from the client. Data files should be e-mailed to

Within 48 hours of receiving the data files an artwork proof in electronic format will be e-mailed back to the customer. After receiving final approval from the customer, we start the production with a standard leadtime of max. 4 weeks for offset-printed cards and 2 weeks for thermal-printed cards.
For customers requiring properly printed sample cards prior to the start of production, we bill $500.00 for this service. The leadtime for sample cards is approx. 2 weeks.
Card printing checklist
- Provide Photoshop or Corel Draw conformant files (.eps, .ai, .psd files)
- Fonts must be in vector format (outlined format). This means that the letters have to look like an image. Otherwise, we can not guarantee the correctness of the font.
- Please confirm if the color is CMYK or Pantone.
- For metallic colors we require sample cards to be sure of their intensity. Manufacturing of sample cards is recommended.
- Please try to avoid the use of metallic colors on the area where the chip is located.
- Metallic color printing does have a negative influence on the reading distance of contactless cards.
- The use of very thin font sizes can create problems during the offset printing process. To avoid this, we recommend increasing the font size.
- Scratches on dark colors are more easily visible. To overcome this problem, we can use a special shield foil overlay (with additional charge).
- Serial numbers can be printed with laser or thermal printing. For a better result, we recommend laser printing.
- After confirmation of the final proof, the manufacturer will not be liable for any claim.
