Contact Memory Cards

The NXP Hitag S256 transponder IC is a 125kHz Long Range RFID IC which provides reading distances of up to 1m (depending on type of reader and antenna). The anti–collision algorithm allows simultaneous communication with several tags. The NXP Hitag S256 IC features a 256Bit memory and allows encrypted data communication (read/write). The memory is password protected. Access to a public user area is possible without encryption and is therefore very fast.
