This hybrid card is a combination of the following two RFID Technologies built into one card.
The EM4100 (previously named H4100) IC is a CMOS integrated circuit for use in electronic Read Only RF transponders. It has a 64Bit Unique Serial Number and has been designed to be used in 125kHz transponders. Due to low power consumption of the logic core and an integrated parallel resonance capacitor of 74pF, the EM4100 Read Only IC provides very good reading distances.
The Infineon SLE5542 is an intelligent 256byte EEPROM Secure Memory IC with Write Protection function and Programmable Security Code. The SLE5542 is 100% functional compatible to SLE4442. It features a 32 x 1Bit Protection Memory and Byte-wise write protection of first 32 addresses (byte 0....31) of Data Memory. It is produced in advanced CMOS-technology optimised for security layout. |
